Study & Small Groups

Connecting in Ways that Speak to You

Sunday Morning Adult Studies  St. Peter's consistently offers studies on Sunday mornings at 10:00am during Education Hour. A lectionary study, led by the individual who preached that day's message, meets in the parlor. The second study is a discussion about spirituality and current events, and it meets in the Conference Room.

Additionally, we have Connections Gatherings for people new to St. Peter's who want to learn more about our community as well as specific study groups about various topics throughout the year.

Women and the Word: During the school year, this group meets every Thursday morning from 9:30 – 11:30am in the parlor (the room with couches at the front of the church).

Women and the Word is much more than a book study, however. Meeting for two hours every week has brought the group close. Members often share the joys and challenges of their lives, and receive support from the group. But don’t think it’s closed to newcomers – drop in whenever you can!

Loss Support Group  Join us in the parlor from 7:00-8:30p.m. on May 3 and 17, June 7 and 21, and July 5 and 19 as we share our journey together.  All are welcome.

Special Workshops  Throughout the year, our pastors and/or outside speakers hold special workshops on issues important to members.

Dine with Nine  Dine with Nine has long been a tradition of our congregation. Typically, groups of nine people have been coordinated to share meals and/or an activity together, usually once a month for six months. This provides a unique way to meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and share in fellowship with other St. Peter’s friends.
